Thilakan to be Mohanlal's dad again

Thilakan and Mohanlal have breathed life into father and son roles in movies like Kireedam, Spadikam, Narasimham and so forth. To cite celebrated director Bhadran, “My Spadikkam worked big time because of the performance of Thilakan as the disciplinarian Mathematics teacher and Mohanlal as his wayward son. They had tremendous understanding which ignited the on-screen spark between the two." And to complement them, with Kaviyoor Ponnamma in the mother's role, it is like icing on the cake.

Thilakan and Mohanlal are coming together to play the inimitable father and son in Roshan Andrews' next untitled film written by James Albert for producer Antony Perumbavoor. Over the past many years, the constant bickerings within the artists association AMMA and the formation of various rival factions have led to the exchange of many unpleasantries between the actors. Thilakan in one of his interviews blasted both Mammootty and Mohanlal for the problems he encountered.
