Dileeps's Ee Parakkum Thalika gets a sequel

Comedy film Ee Parakkum Thalika, which was a super hit is set to have a sequel soon. The sequel, like the prequel, will also have Dileep doing the lead role and will be directed by Thaha. According to sources, Nithya Das, the heroine of the original film will do a cameo in the sequel.

The prequel was about a bus owner, Unnikrishnan (Dileep) which he received as compensation for his father"s road accident. Due to the pathetic condition of his bus, he has to sell a number of things to maintain it. After getting into trouble with the City Traffic Commissioner, he runs a mobile kitchen from his bus. One day, a girl named Basanthi (Nithya Das) comes into their bus and refuses to leave, despite several attempts. They then find out that she"s actually Gayathri, a politician"s daughter, who ran away from home when she was going to be forced into politics.

Scripted by V R Gopalakrishnan, the shoot is expected to start by the end of the year. Salim Kumar and Harisree Ashokan who played important roles in the film will also be a part in the sequel as well. Thaha also in plans to make another sequel. This time it"s for his film Mookkilla Rajyathu. He will start working on the sequel to Ee Parakkum Thalika as soon as Mookkilla Rajyathu – 2 completes.
