Ithu Nammude Kadha takes off

Pooja of the film Ithu Nammude Kadha, directed by Rajesh Kannankara, was performed at Hotel Sarovaram at Ernakulam last week. Director Joshi lit the lamp. Kaviyoor Ponnamma, Gokulam Gopalan and others attended the ceremony. Gokulam Gopalan clapped the first shot.

Asif Ali, Nishan and Ananya are doing the lead roles in the film. It is about youngsters Vinod, Santhosh, Kochumon and Kalyani, who live in a village. They do not like to depend on their parents. So they planned to start a business. They approached a bank manager for a loan. They could understand that several hardships are there to get the loan.

During this period Chengalchoola Babu, a goonda arrives. Understanding the situation he tries to handle the issue his own way. But this too helped to worsen the condition. The director is trying to expose the innocence and serenity of village life, which is vanishing due to urbanisation, through the film. Vijay Ulakanath is the cinematographer.

Other cast of the film includes Saikumar, Biju Menon, Suraj, Vijayaraghavan, Devan, Samudrakani, Bijukuttan, Abhishek, Alakanada, Shobha Mohan, Ambika Mohan and others. Thajuddin and Sanju are producing the film under the banner of Platinum Creations.
