Mammootty ropes in Lal Jose for Best Actor

Malayalam filmmaker Lal Jose is going to appear in superstar Mammootty"s upcoming movie Best Actor. The director will have a cameo role in the movie. He had earlier acted in Ranjith directed Rock and Roll, where he appeared as himself. In Best Actor too, Jose will enact his real life role as a director. Directed by Martin Prakkat, the movie is set on the background of film industry.

In the meantime, he has finished shooting as an actor in the film and switched to his next movie Elsamma Enna Aankutty, which he is directing with stars Kunchacko Bobban, Indrajith, and newcomer Ann Augustine.

Lal Jose is also finishing his script for the proposed Mohanlal-Prithviraj starrer movie Cousins, which is expected to start shooting by the year end.
