Mammootty's Vande Mataram breathes new life

Malayalam Film Industry"s superstar Mammootty won lots of laurels for his histrionics in Pazhassi Raja and is all set for yet another bilingual film Vande Mataram. The film is produced by Henry of Pankaj Productions and is directed by T. Aravind. Action King, Arjun plays another lead role in this action-thriller that revolves around two police officers striving to curb the terrorist activities in India.

The film started rolling in 2007 and was delayed due to financial constraints. Now we hear that the producers have decided to release the film on July 15 in both Malayalam and Tamil. Previously, the Tamil version was titled as Aruvadai and later replaced with the title of the Malayalam version Vande Mataram.

Sneha plays the role of Mammoottys wife and actors like Kalabhavan Mani, Late Rajan P Dev, Bollywood actor Atul Kulkarni and Jai Akash are in the cast.

D. Imman has scored the music but the songs haven"t done great business at audio markets. Rajesh Yadav has handled the cinematography for this film.
