Vineeth encourages induction of new faces

By Raymond Ronamai

Director turned singer-actor Vineeth Sreenivasan has said, “Best screenplay and planning are essential to create a good film. Direction is comparatively easier than scripting. Completing the screenplay for my film was a tedious process. Probably I won"t attempt for another film for two years. So that I can concentrate in singing." Vineeth was speaking about his work Malarvadi Arts Club' at a press meet in Kochi.

“Induction of new faces would surely uplift the industry. The stardom, which prevails in the industry does not hinder this process. Still there are chances for newcomers. My father Sreenivasan, who watched the film congratulated me. I consider it a recognition. I offered a role of a money lender who charges above the lawful interest rate for him. It was a real period of tension for me when he acted in that scene under my direction," he added.

Music director Shan Rehman, actors Aju Varghese, Bhagath Immanuel, Nivin Poly and Sravan also attended the press meet.
