Tamil comedian Vivek to play hero in Malayalam film

hero.
The
comedian
will
be
playing
the
lead
role
in
his
first
Malayalam
film
Oru
Nunakkadha.
Vivek
will
be
seen
as
a
sub
inspector
in
the
state
police
department,
who
is
a
film
buff.
Mathew
Abraham
will
produce
the
movie
Under
the
banner
of
Ben
arts
and
Johnson
Thankachan
has
taken
put
on
the
director"s
cap.
The
48
year
comedian
has
earned
the
Filmfare
Best
Comedian
Award
for
his
performances
in
the
films
Sivaji,
Samy,
Run
and
Perazhagan.
He
was
born
in
Kovilpatti,
Tamil
Nadu.
In
1987,
the
actor
debuted
with
the
film
Manathil
Uruthi
Vendum.
The
government
of
India
honored
Vivek
with
the
Padma
Shri
award
in
April
2009,
for
his
contribution
to
arts.
He
was
also
given
the
Asianet
Film
Award
in
2009
as
a
Special
Honour
Jury
Award.
