Distributors'
Association
has
decided
to
ban
Kamal
and
Jayaraj,
accusing
them
both
for
unilaterally
releasing
their
films
on
November
25th,
even
after
the
Distributors'
Association
requested
them
not
to
release
their
films
before
November
27th.
Refusing
to
pay
heed
to
the
association's
direction,
six
distribution
companies
took
initiative
to
release
Jayaraj
film
Nayika
and
Kamal's
Swapna
Sanchari
on
November
25th
itself.
Considering
the
release
of
the
move
as
an
insult,
distributors'
association
decided
to
ban
both
directors
and
serve
a
show
cause
notice
to
those
distribution
companies,
which
released
those
films.
Responding
to
the
news
Kamal
said
"I
feel
this
ban
a
comedy.
How
can
they
ban
me
as
I
am
not
a
member
of
distributors
association.
Producer
and
distributors
have
decided
to
release
the
film.
It
is
my
duty
to
stay
with
the
producer
to
release
the
film
on
25
itself."
Director
Jayaraj
was
not
ready
to
respond.
But
he
said,
he
would
discuss
the
issue
in
the
meeting
of
FEFKA.
Secretary
of
FEFKA,
B
Unni
Krishnan
said
that
he
got
to
know
about
the
ban
only
from
media.
If
they
send
a
letter
officially,
surely
he
would
respond
to
it.
However,
Exhibitors'
Federation
said
that
they
would
continue
providing
their
support
to
both
the
directors
in
future.
