The IT sleuths conducted raids on Mohanlal's homes and offices in different cities on Friday. But they could not investigate two rooms at his home in Thevara as they were locked with biometric keys. The actor was not at his residence on the day. So they continued the investigation on Tuesday after the star returned home from shooting.
Sources claim that IT officials found a collection of expensive antiques and paintings when they investigated the two-locked rooms on Tuesday. It is also reported that they have also got some financial documents. Now, they will summon a specialist from outside Kerala for assessing the value of the antiques.
Apart from acting fees, Mohanlal has received large sums from modelling assignments and his various business enterprises. On Tuesday, the IT investigators checked all his financial documents and questioned him over alleged discrepancies in his income tax returns.
