Upcoming
Malayalam
actor
Jayasurya
has
replaced
another
popular
actor
Prithviraj
in
director
M
Padmakumar's
forthcoming
film
Pathiramanal.
Originally,
Prithvi
was
chosen
for
the
lead
role
in
it,
but
he
himself
has
opted
out
of
the
project
stating
his
date
issues.
Sources
claim
that
the
Malayalam
star
is
busy
with
nearly
4-5
films
and
dates
of
those
films
clashed
with
this
film.
Film
Pathiramanal
is
produced
by
Dhanush
Productions.
Babu
Janardhanan
is
writing
the
script
for
it.
Directed
by
M
Padmakumar,
it
features
actress
Rima
Kallingal
in
the
heroine
role.
Tamil
star
Samuthirakani,
who
debuted
in
Malayalam
with
the
movie
Shikaar,
will
play
the
second
lead
in
it.
It
is
expected
to
start
rolling
in
Alappuzha
from
this
March
and
will
be
offered
in
July
2012.
However,
Prithvi
has
worked
in
the
movie
Vaasthavam,
which
has
been
directed
by
M
Padmakumar
and
scripted
by
Babu
Janardhanan.
He
has
won
Kerala
State
Award
for
his
wonderful
performance
in
it.
Now,
Padmakumar
and
Janardhanan
are
coming
back
together
with
Pathiramanal,
which
has
made
big
headlines
for
its
interesting
story
line.
Only
the
release
of
the
film
will
decide
whether
it
would
be
a
big
loss
for
Prithvi.
