he
would
act
in
the
remake
of
the
hit
Malayalam
movie
Traffic,
which
celebrated
the
100
day's
success
on
Wednesday,
April
27.
Earlier,
rumours
were
making
rounds
in
the
air
that
he
would
star
in
the
Tamil
remake.
Now,
the
South
Indian
actor
has
confirmed
it
that
he
would
play
the
role
that
was
actually
played
by
Rahman
in
the
original.
Kamal
Hassan
attended
the
celebration
function
of
100
day's
success
of
Traffic
at
the
Gokulam
Convention
Centre,
Ernakulam.
Addressing
the
event,
he
revealed
his
plans
about
the
Tamil
remake
of
Traffic.
“I
will
be
using
the
entire
crew
and
all
the
artists
except
one
for
the
Tamil
remake
of
the
movie.
And
that
artist
will
be
Rehman,
as
I
will
be
donning
his
role
in
the
Tamil
version," the
IndiaGlitz
quotes
him
as
saying.
Meanwhile,
Kamal
Hassan
and
director
Lal
Jose
distributed
the
momentos
to
the
entire
crew
and
artists
of
the
movie,
who
were
overjoyed
with
the
announcement
of
Ulaganayagan.
The
Traffic
team,
which
will
start
work
on
the
Tamil
remake
soon,
is
now
very
excited
to
work
with
Kamal.
