Mammootty's son Dulquar Salman debuts in Second Show

Mammootty's son Dulquar Salman, who is getting married in December, is all set to debut in movies through the film Second Show. The Malayalam superstar's son will star alongside debutante Dr. Avanthika in debutant director Sreenath Rajendran's movie. Salman has participated in a rehearsal camp conducted for the film last month. Both director and screenplay writer are friends of Salman.

Mammootty and Dulquar were impressed by the project and accepted it after discussions. It was reported earlier that Salman had signed a contract to act in N Linguswamy's film and in Anwar Rasheed film. But those projects were not materialised. Now, it is confirmed that Dulquar will play the lead in the film Second Show.

Director Sreenath Rajendran was the assistant of Jayaraj for the film Loud Speaker. Debutant Vinu Vishwalal has penned the screenplay and dialogue. Dulquar plays the role of an underworld don. Pappu, assistant cinematographer of Rajeev Ravi, will crank the camera.

AOPL International Pvt Ltd is producing the film Second Show. Violin of Sibi Malayil was produced under this banner. Baburaj and Salim Kumar are also appearing in supporting roles. Kaithapram has handled the music. Avial Band is also contributing with a musical number. The shooting of the film will begin at Kozhikode shortly.
