It is a 'face to face' for superstars Mammooty and Mohanlal as their films hit theatres today.

Mammooty's Venicile Vyapari, directed by Shafi and Mohanlal's Arabiyum Ottakom P. Madhavan Nairum, directed by Priyadarsan will be released after a long gap. The makers of both films had to go through various problems, that covered many issues including strikes in the film circuit.

Venicile Vyapari is directed by Shafi and produced under the banner of Murali Films by VP Madhavan Nair. Mohanlal-Priyadarshan's Arabiyum Ottakoum P. Madhavan Nairum is produced by Ashok Kumar under the banner of Janko Films.

Story of Priyadarsan film is penned by Abhilash Nair. Dialogues and screenplay by Priyadarsan. Mohan Lal is supported by Mukesh, Bhavana, Lakshmi Rai, Suraj, Reshmi Boban and others.

Screenplay of Mamootty-Shafi team's film is penned by James Albert. Kavya and Poonam Bajwa are the heroines. They are supported by Janardhanan, Jagathy, Salim Kumar, Suraj, Vijayaraghavan, Sree Ramam, Kala Bhavan Shajon and others.
