Mammootty, Suresh to appear as King, Commissioner

Malayalam movie The King And The Commissioner, which was reportedly shelved over the differences of opinion between Mammootty and Suresh Gopi, is now all set to start rolling from the 25th of April. According to source, both Mallu superstars have now have decided to coming together again on screen with this project.

Mammootty and Suresh Gopi have last appeared together in Twenty Twenty. In recent years, there a kind of cold war that was said to have developed between the two stars. But Suresh Gopi visited Mammootty at his residence last week. With the hour-long meeting, the stars have apparently buried the hatches.

Both the leading stars of Malayalam are said to be joining hands for the movie The King And The Commissioner. Mammootty will once again play Thevalliparambil Joseph Alex IAS in the movie while Suresh Gopi will appear as Bharath Chandran IPS for the third time.

The King And The Commissioner is being produced by Anto Joseph. Another specialty of the film is that it is bringing scriptwriter Renji Panikkar and director Shaji Kailas together after 15 years. However, Mammootty is on his Europe tour and this project would start rolling in April after his return.
