Superstar Mammootty has great hopes pinned up from his upcoming film Venicile Vyapari, directed by Shafi. The movie is slated to release on November 4.
Mammootty has delivered several flops in the year 2011 - August 15, Doubles, Train and 1993 Bombay March 12 have all flopped at the box office. Venicile Vyapari is hence Mammootty's highly anticipated film of the year. The script of Venicile Vyapari has been written by James Albert, one of the best script writers in the Malayalam film industry.
What is also interesting to note is that Kavya Madhavan, who plays Mammootty's love interest in the film had made her debut as child artist in Mammootty's Azhagia Ravanan.
In Venicile Vyapari, Mammootty will be seen essaying three different roles. While one role will be that of a policeman in the 1970s, the actor will be seen as a coir merchant in the second role. The third role that Mammootty will essay will be revealed closer to release.
