Manoj K Jayan ties the knot with Asha

Malayalam actor Manoj K Jayan has got married once again after two years after his divorce from actress Urvashi. Sources claim that the Mollywood star has tied the knot with Asha, who is neither a celebrity nor a woman from the media. His marriage was low-key profile wedding, which was attended only by a few close relatives of the bride and groom.

According to sources, Manoj K Jayan, who has been staying with his parents and daughter Kunjaatta at Cochin, has chosen Asha, who is a native of Varkala. His marriage with her was held without much fanfare in a relative's house at Thrissur on the last Thursday. The actor had not invited anyone from the media or the Malayalam film industry.

However, Manoj K Jayan had got married to Urvashi after a brief courtship in the year 2000. They have a daughter from their marriage. They had been going through rough patches for a while and their problems worsened in 2008. So they got divorced on mutual consent on 10th October, 2008. The reason behind their split was that Urvashi wanted to concentrate on her career, but Manoj was not happy with it. The legal battle over their daughter's custody is still on.
