Malayalam film Rajavinte Makan, which was released in 1986, had become a highly successful movie at the Box Office. With this flick, Mohanlal became a superstar overnight. Now, Antony Perumbavoor has planned to produce the remake of the movie. Sources say that Mohanlal will team up with Suresh Gopi for the movie again.
The main reason for the success of the movie Rajavinte Makan was its racy script and hard hitting dialogues. It is reported that Dennis Joseph, who had written screenplay and dialogues for the original, has reworked on them again and completed the script works. But it is not known about the director.
Mohanlal had played underworld don Vincent Gomez in Rajavinte Makan. Sources now claim that Malayalam superstar has already gone through Dennis' script and agreed to play the same role. Suresh Gopi had essayed the role of Vincent Gomas' trusted gangster. He is also said to go through the script soon.
However, not much is known about other cast and crew and shooting of the remake of the film Rajavinte Makan. Producer Antony Perumbavoor is expected to announce all the details of the movie soon.
