The

Rathinirvedam

now
all
set
to
hit
the
screens
across
Kerala
on
June
3.
The
film
is
directed
by
TK
Rajeev
Kumar
and
produced
by
Menaka
Suresh
under
the
banner
of
Revathy
Kalamandir.
Shwetha
Menon
is
playing
the
title
role
of
Rathi,
while
Sreejith
Vijay
appears
as
Pappu.
Rathinirvedam
is
a
remake
of
1978's
Malayalam
film
of
the
same
name,
which
was
directed
by
Bharathan
and
written
by
Padmarajan.
The
story
of
the
movie
is
all
about
a
teenager,
who
falls
in
love
with
a
woman
older
than
him.
Jayabharathi
and
Krishnachandran
had
played
the
lead
roles
in
it.
Award
winning
musician
M
Jayachandran
has
composed
music
and
Murugan
Kattakada
has
penned
the
lyrics
for
Rathinirvedam.
The
music
of
the
new
version
has
been
released
by
famous
dancer
Padma
Subrahmaniam
on
Sunday.
Manorama
Music
has
released
the
audio
album
of
the
film.
Shwetha
Menon
is
giving
a
sensual
portrayal
of
titular
character
for
the
new
version
of
Rathinirvedam,
which
will
have
Manoj
Pillai's
cinematography,
Ajith's
editing,
Mohandas'
art
direction,
Kuku
Parameswaran's
costumes
and
PV
Shankar's
makeup.
Manianpilla
Raju,
Shammi
Thilakan,
Pakru,
KPAC
Lalitha
and
Maya
Viswanath
are
in
the
supporting
roles.
