Sanjjana excited to act with Mammootty in The King 2

Actress Sanjjana's latest Kannada movie I Am Sorry... Matte Banni Preethisona has suffered a severe set back at the Box Office. But the South Indian star does not seem to be much worried about it. The reason behind it is that she has bagged a plum role in Malayalam film The King And The Commissioner opposite superstar Mammootty.

In an interview to an English daily, Sanjjana said that she has just begun work on her next film The King And The Commissioner. She is now thrilled to act with established stars like Mammootty and Suresh Gopi it the movie. She adds that Malayalam film industry offers challenging roles to the heroines that are almost on par with those by the leading men.

Sanjjana is very happy because she began the year 2011 with the success of her Kannada film Mylari. Recently, she has bagged a few interesting projects in Kannada, Telugu and now Malayalam. But the failure of her latest Kannada flick has not disappointed her. She says that she has played a challenging role like a pimp, which has pushed her beyond her creative boundaries.
