Traffic goes to Hindi

Rajesh Pillai's 2010 superhit movie Traffic will be remade in Bollywood. Endemol India, which has produced several Hindi reality shows, has bagged the remake rights of the Hindi version of the film.

Sources close to the production house have confirmed the news that it has acquired the remake rights for a good price. But they have refused to reveal the other details about the film. However, it has confirmed that the Hindi version of Traffic will be directed by Rajesh Pillai himself, which means the director will be making his debut in Bollywood.

Traffic is all about five men appearing as - a traffic police constable, a doctor, a film star, a college student and a journalist. They accidentally happen to meet at a traffic island and that changes the lives of all.

Directed by Rajesh Pillai, the movie features Sreenivasan, Kunchakko Bobban, Rahman, Asif Ali, Vineeth Sreenivasan, Sandhya, Remya Nambishan, Roma and Lena in the leads.
