Marriage and divorces play a very important place in the film industry. Actresses getting hitched and then separate is no big deal in the film industry. The Malayalam actors and actresses were considered more conventional wanting to make their marriage work.
However, the trend seems to be changing. Off late, like in Hollywood and Bollywood, many actresses in the Malayalam film industry are choosing to break off from their unhappy marriages and live an independent life and continue with their acting career.
