Mohanlal backs out of Sibi Malayil's Swaminathan

Mohanlal backed out of Sibi Malayil film Swaminathan. According to reports, Mohanlal's denial was due to the continuous flop of Sibi films.

Last two Sibi releases Violin and Unnam did not hit the charts and it must be the reason why Mohanlal decided not to commit with Swaminathan. Flash and Devadhoothan, two earlier Mohanlal films directed by Sibi also could not win the box office.

Big budget film Casanova too did not do well for Mohanlal. Considering all these facts, it is now being said that Mohanlal is too careful in selecting forthcoming projects.
