following

heart
attack.
Damodaran

survived
by
three
daughters.

of
his
daughters
named
Deedi
Damodaran
is
an
upcoming
scriptwriter.

had
written
scripts
for
over
50
Malayalam
films,
including
some
of
the
blockbusters
like
Kalapani,
Angadi,
Eee
Nadu,
Aryan,
Avanazhi,
Vartha
and
Adimagal
Udamagal.
Damodaran
had
also
acted
in
a
few
films.

Damodaran
is
known
to
have
written
scripts
that
made
superstars
out
of
Mammootty,
Mohanlal
and
Suresh
Gopi.

Damodaran,
along
with
director
IV
Sasi
and
Priyadarshan
wrote
many
scripts
for
the
three
stars
during
1980s
and
1990s.

Damodaran
began
his
career
as
a
physical
education
instructor
in
a
school
before
embarking
on
a
career
as
a
scriptwriter.
Damodaran
initially
wrote
for
Malayalam
dramas
before
moving
into
the
film
industry.
