Popular Malayalam actor Mukesh marries the profound dancer Methil Devika. They got married at Mukesh's residence at Maradu and officially signed the marriage papers at the Tripunithara Register Office. The couple conducted special poojas at the Tripunithara Puthiyakavu Temple.
Mukesh had earlier married the actress Saritha and has two sons. Mukesh and Saritha filed divorce in 2007 and was granted the same by the court in 2009. Since then, the two sons were living with Mukesh. He kept himself busy in films and anchored TV shows too.
Methil Devika, a recipient of Ustad Bismillah Khan Award, is currently teaching at the Kerala Kalamandalam. She previously worked as lecturer in the department of postgraduate studies (Mohiniyattam/Kathakali/Koodiyattam) and at the research department of Kerala Kalamandalam, a deemed university. She recently submitted PhD thesis to Bharathidasan University, Tamil Nadu, 2013.
Mukesh and Devika were members of the Sangeetha Nataka Academy, and if reports are to be believed, the two became closer in this academy. The wedding was a small affair with the attendance and blessings of only a few close friends and relatives.
Meanwhile, Mukesh is busy with his new show on Asianet, Badayi Bungalow. The show is the Malayalam remake of the popular Television show Comedy Nights With Kapil,which is aired on Colors.
