Anoop Menon, Bhavana turn Angry Birds

Thiruvananthapuram: Malayalam actors Anoop Menon and Bhavana starred together in director VK Prakash's movie Trivandrum Lodge, which featured them as a lodge owner and his wife, respectively. Their pairing was commercially successful and the film critics had described them as the perfect couple in Mollywood. The duo is now teaming up again for forthcoming film Angry Birds, which is directed by Saji Surendran, who has worked with Anoop in several television shows including December Mist.

Angry Birds is a romantic comedy and Krishna Poojappura is writing dialogues and screenplay for it. The story of the film is about a couple who are in love and elope to Mumbai from Kerala. Soon, they realise that real life is not as sweet or fun as it was when they were in love and the compatibility issues between them form the rest of the movie. Saji says that it is based on Anoop's idea.

Anoop Menon and Bhavana will appear as a troubled pair in the film Angry Birds. Saji Surendran, who is coming out with a movie without Jayasurya for the first, says that it is a full-length comedy movie. Anoop will handle a brand new role, which he has never reprised before. The film unit will start its shoot in Mumbai from May 25. It is expected to release by the end of the year.
