This week will witness a lot of Malayalam movies to cheer up this Ramzan. Tamil and Bollywood are also geared up with their releases Thalaivaa and Chennai Express, respectively, to enthrall the audience. In Malayalam, Kadal Kadannu Oru Mathukutty got postponed due to heavy rain in the state. Now, Dileep's Nadodi Mannan also gets postponed.
Dileep's Nadodi Mannan will be getting its release one week delayed. The movie which was earlier slated for an August 23rd release, will now be getting released on August 30. Directed by Viji Thampi, the movie has Ananya, Mythili and Archana Kavi playing the female leads.
In Nadodi Mannan, Dileep plays the role of Padmanabhan, a village youth. Though a son of an ardent politician, Padmanabhan has no particular inclination to any political party. He finds his means of living by participating in demonstrations for various political parties. He then moves on to the city, where he gets elected as the Mayor. He then starts his ways to clean the city.
Ananya is seen playing the role of Meera, a bold character. Archana Kavi plays the role of Athira, a member of a former royal family. Mythili is seen as Rima, a broadcast journalist. Padmanabhan befriends with Rima during his days as the Mayor. She helps him bring to light certain crucial issues before the public.
Bollywood actor Sayaji Shinde plays the role of the villain in the film, who is in odd terms with Padmanabhan. The other cast includes Nedumudi Venu, Janardhanan, Salim Kumar and Suraj Venjarammoodu. Krishnan Poojappura has done the scripting for Nadodi Mannan. The movie is produced under the banner of Chithram Films. Cinematography is by Sanjeev Sankar and music is scored by Vidyasagar.
Dileep also has his Sringara Velan coming up. Vedhika plays the female lead in this film. Lal is also seen playing a pivotal role in the movie. Hope this festive seasons cheer up the audience with Dileep movies!
