Olipporu Was Initially Rejected By Me, Says Fahad Fazil

Olipporu movie is getting released today (23 August). Fahad Fazil and Subhiksha are playing lead roles in this movie. Directed by AV Sasidharan, the movie throws light on the political situations and life of the state.

The latest news about the movie Olipporu is that Fahad Fazil had rejected the film initially, when he was approached to do the role of Ajayan in Olipporu. Fahad himself said this by tweeting it. Fahad continued saying that later on the character of Ajayan started haunting him very badly. He could no longer withstand it that he finally approached the director Sasidharan and asked him to do the project with him.

Adding on, Fahad said that it took them a year to make the film on roll. It was very difficult for them to convince the cast. At last after so many hurdles, Olipporu is hitting the theatres today. Fahad is happy that he could be a part of such a film that highlights some social issues.

Kalabhavan Mani, Sidharth Bharathan, Thalavaasal Vijay and Zarina Wahab are also seen in this film in the supporting roles. The movie also marks Fahad Fazil's debut as a singer. Olipporu is the eight movie of Fahad Fazil for the year. Hope that this movie will be another feather added to his successful career.
