Garbha Shriman: A Movie About A Pregnant Man!

Can a man get pregnant? This is an unusual thing to happen, but we have witnessed and heard about such news many times. Now, the latest news is that the Malayalam industry is soon going to witness a movie based on a story where a man is getting pregnant.

Cinematographer Anil Gopinath is all set to make his debut as a director with the movie tilted Garbha Shriman. The director says that a mythological story inspired him to make a film with such an unusual theme.

A man, who belongs to a royal family, married seven times. Unfortunately, none of his wives got preganant and blessed him with a baby. Desperate man approaches a saint, who gives the man holy water and asks him to make his wives drink it. On his way back home, the man feels thirsty and without thinking that he is having the holy water, he drinks it and becomes pregnant! Later, the baby is taken out by dissecting the stomach of the man - this is the story said in the mythology, says Anil.

Anil says that the movie Garbha Shriman will be made on a comedy track and adds that it will not be a sole comedy entertainer. The director says that he is trying to convey a theme which is likey to happen due to the development of science and technology.

Anil says that he is ready with the script and all other needs. He is in search of a hero who is willing to portray the role of a pregnant man. As a beginner, he says that it is very difficult to come out of many obstacles. Anil hopes that he will soon find his pregnant hero!
