According to the viewers, Kadal Kadannu Oru Mathukutty
(KKOM) is a watchable movie. But Ranjith magic seems to be missing. The
audience expected the same magic to happen in KKOM as in
the earlier Mammootty-Ranjith flick Pranchiyettan And The
Saint. However, their last film Bavuttiyude Naamathil
also failed to impress the audience.
Kadal Kadannu Oru Mathukuttuy was earlier slated for an
August 9 release. But since it would clash with his son Dulquar
Salman's Neelakasham Pachakadal Chuvanna Bhoomi it was
preponed. After a lot of changes, the movie was confimrd for an
August 8 release.
Kadal Kadannu Oru Mathukutty bagged a clean U
Certificate from the Censor Board on August 5. Mammootty plays the
role of an NRI in the film, who is settled with his family in
Germany. He is assigned with a responsibility by the German
Malayalis. To fulfill the same, he lands in Kottayam, where he gets
involved in more issues. How Mathukutty tackles all his issues form
the rest of the story.
