Kalimannu Release Gets Postponed!

Blessy directed movie Kalimannu bagged a clean U/A Certificate from the Censor Board. The movie was earlier slated for an August 9 release, but now the movie gets postponed.

Kalimannu will be getting released on August 23. The movie has Shweta Menon and Biju Menon in lead roles. They are sharing the screen together for the first time. The movie tells the bondage between a pregnant mother and her baby.

Kalimannu was a much hyped movie. The movie was in news for many reasons. Regardless of the delivery scene, Kalimannu was criticised after the poster of the movie was out. It had the picture of Biju Menon drawing on the bare stomach of pregnant Shweta.

Though the movie has received a U/A certificate, the movie is categorised under 'viewing under parental guidance'. Both director and actress are very happy with the remarks of the censor board. According to them, the certificate is an answer to all those who spoke against Kalimannu.
