Director Blessy confirms the presence of Shweta Menon's live delivery scenes in his upcoming movie Kalimannu. The movie which was earlier slated for an August 9 release, is now postponed to August 23.

Soon after the director confirmed the presence of the controversial scenes in the movie, the theatre owners have come up with another controversy. They argue that the movie should get a special preview for the people who opposed against the film. The Film Exhibitors Federation said that they will not screen the film in theatres unless the controversial scenes are not removed from the film.

Kalimannu will not be screened!

Kalimannu bagged a clean U/A certificate from the Censor Board. But the association claims that the censorship was given by a panel which had only women. So the movie should get a special preview screening for all those who spoke against the film, including the politicians.

The association are of the opinion that they will be the sufferers if the movie has the controversial scenes. They say that they do not want to get into trouble knowingly. They also add that the director will not lose anything if he is ready for a preview.

Kalimannu has Shweta Menon and Biju Menon playing lead roles. The movie tells the bondage between a pregnant mother and her baby. The audio of the movie was released by Mammootty.
