My Father Spread The Fake Death News, Says Kanaka

Kanaka was in news recently for her fake death news. Now, the actress alleges her father Devdas for spreading her fake death news to the media. In a telephonic interview given to an online webportal, Kanaka said that it was only her father, who was responsible for all the dramas that occurred regarding the death news.

Kanaka said that her father Devdas had done all this just for the sake of money. Adding on, she claimed that her father left her and mother long back. He was more interested in other women and hardly looked after them.

According to her, father has now come back because he needs money. He will get what he wants only after Kanaka's death. It is due to this reason that her father Devdas had spread that Kanaka had passed away.

Kanaka says that her fake death news was first given to Tamil media, and later on it must have been copied by the Malayalam media. She adds that she has no grudge for any of the media people. She was happy to know that her Malayali audience were still concerned about her.

"I can take the case to the court claiming for crores of rupees, for spreading the death news of an alive person. But I am not going to take any such step as I am very much aware of the person who did it. My father came to see me after the fake news were out. But, I closed my door in front of him. I don't want to see him anymore," said Kanaka.

It was also rumoured that Kanaka created the news herself to make a comeback in the industry. Commenting to this statement, the actress said that she is least interested in acting these days and do not wish to make a comeback. She had many opportunities earlier, but she wished to step back from the industry after her mother's death.
