Kavya Madhavan At Chottanikkara Temple

Kavya Madhavan offers Mandapathilpattu Vazhipadu for the holy Chottanikkara Amma, at Chottanikkara Temple. Kavya came with her parents to the temple on Saturday. She was present at the temple from morning till Athazhapooja in the night.

Mandapathilpattu Vazhipadu is the main offering to the Amma. Kavya said that she usually comes to the temple and had already booked for the offering. But she got a chance for the same only now. Kavya Madhavan paid a sum of Rs 12,000 at the devaswom cash counter for the offering.

With respect to the Mandapathilpattu Vazhipadu, both Devi and Sastha were brought to the mantapa. Special poojas were done by the main priest Erannur Mana Damodaran Namboothiri. At this time, Usha Brahmani Amma sang brahmani songs praising Devi and Sastha. Special poojas were conducted apart from the normal poojas in the temple.
