Kunjananthante Kada Official Teaser Released
After the success of Kadal Kadannu Oru Mathukutty, Mammootty is back again with his next flick titled Kunjananthante Kada. Debutant Nyla Usha, a RJ from Dubai will be playing the female lead in the film. The movie is directed by the National Award winner Salim Ahamed, who shot to fame with the first film Adaminte Makan Abu, which surprised the entire film world with the number of recognitions it won at the national level. The official trailer of Kunjananthante Kada has been released.

narrated
in
the
backdrop
of
Kannur.
It
tells
the
story
of
a
husband
and
wife
who
cannot
tolerate
each
other
and
plan
for
a
divorce.
The
movie
also
throws
light
on
some
socially
relevant
issues.
Mammootty
plays
the
role
of
a
grocery
owner
in
the
film.
Mammotty,
who
has
experimented
with
various
dialects
of
the
language
from
Thiruvananthpuram
to
Thrissur,
will
be
seen
speaking
the
Kannur
slang
in
this
film.
Nyla Usha is making her debut with Kunjannathante Kada. She plays Mammootty's wife in the film, who works in a co-operative bank. The RJ turned actress has also signed another film Punyalan Agarbattis, starring Jayasurya in the lead.
Oscar-winning sound designer Resul Pookkutty will make a comeback to the Malayalam industry through this film. He will do sync sound for the film. He had done post production sound designing for Pazhassi Raja, re-designed and remixed the sound of Adaminte Makan Abu, when it was chosen as the Indian entry for Academy Award for Best Foreign Language Film last year.
Other cast in the movie also includes Balachandra Menon, Salim Kumar, Siddique, Yavanika Gopalakrishnan, Master Navaneet and Baby Esther.
