Mammootty And Sasi Kumar Team Up Once Again!
Mammootty and Sasi Kumar entertained us with their movie Loudspeaker. And the latest buzz is that the duo is once again teaming up in the upcoming movie Balyakalasakhi. The movie is based on the novel 'Balyakalasakhi' written by the late Muhammed Basheer.

Mammootty
portrays

role
of
Majeed
and
that
of
his
father
in
the
film.
The
role
of
Majeed's
love
Suhara
is
essayed
by
Isha
Talwar.
In
1967,
a
film
adaptation
starring
Prem
Nazir
as
Majeed
and
Sheela
as
Suhara
had
been
launched
by
Sasikumar.
Basheer
had
written
the
script
and
dialogues
of
this
film.
Sasi Kumar, who is a journalist by profession, came into limelight with the movie Loudspeaker. Mammootty played the lead role in this film. The movie won lot of applauds for the performances of both of them. Now, the duo is all set to team up once again.
Bengali actor Parambrath Chatterjee, who rose to fame with his role in the Hindi movie Kahaani, will also be seen playing a pivotal role in Balyakalasakhi. Biju Menon, KPAC Lalitha, Maamukkoya are the other cast in the film. The first schedule of the shooting has been completed. The film will be shot in a specially made set at Perumbalam Island, Vaikom. Some scenes will also be shot in Kolkata. The movie is directed by Pramod Payyannur.
