Manju Warrier, after making a comeback through her dance performances, has started shooting for her Ad film in Mumbai. She began her second innings with a bang by sharing the screen with Amitabh Bachchan for the shoot of the latest ad film of Kalyan Jewellers at the Dadasaheb Phalke film city in Mumbai on Monday.
The actress was so much excited about the shoot that she landed in Mumbai two days prior to the shooting. She said that she was in so much of tension about facing the camera after a long period of fourteen years.
Manju's comeback was talk of the town from the time she announced it. There were rumours that Dileep did not want her comeback and that he had threatened Kalyan Jewellers to step down from his post of its Brand Ambassador. But everything went good and Manju has started the first step for her comeback.
VA Sreekumar, the director of the Ad, had earlier said that he has made the script in such a way that there are lots of special moments for both actors. The role of Bachchan and Manju in the Ad is not yet revealed. The first day shoot, as per the reports, went quite well without much takes. Hope this will make a big bang comeback for Manju Warrier back to her industry too.
Now, let's take a quick look at her most memorable roles through the slideshow...
Manju Warrier In Sallapam
Manju Warrier stepped into the industry playing the female lead in the movie Sallapam, opposite her husband Dileep. The movie had Manju playing an orphan, who falls in love with a carpenter (Dileep). She played a bubbly character in the film.
We saw Manju playing a very bold character in the film. A girl, who took up the responsibility of a whole family. Mohanlal, who played the hero in the film, also had a different look.
Kannezhuthy Pottum Thottu
In the movie, we saw Manju playing a cunning woman, who comes back to take revenge on the man who killed her parents. Manju's character was filled with suspense and she made it a huge hit.
An uncomparable movie, two extra-ordinary actors, who showed their excellence in acting. That is all about Aaram Thampuran. We saw the real acting of both Mohanlal and Manju to their extreme in this movie. And they did make a good pair in the film.
Summer In Bethlehem
The naughty Aami is very difficult to forget. The way she confuse Jayaram in the movie with Kannada is still considered as one of the best comedy in every shows.
Jayaram-Manju pair excelled in this movie. They have acted in many films including Irattakuttikalude Achan, Thoovalkottaram, Kaliveedu, etc.
Daya is another movie to her credit. The movie had her in a boy's attire. She portrayed the role very well.
