Thiruvananthapuram: The love affair between actress Rima Kallingal and director Aashiq Abu is no longer a secret. The director has recently admitted his relationship with the actress. Now, it is the turn of the 22 Female Kottayam star, who has confirmed dating him. Rima says that they have been going out for two years and they have never kept their affair under wraps.
It was being rumoured recently that Aashiq Abu had got married to Rima Kallingal in a hush hush manner. But Aashiq took to his Facebook page to silence the rumour mongers and posted, "The hoax about my marriage with Rima was quite entertaining but totally untrue. We love each other and will definitely let the world know when we go for a wed lock."
In an interview to Deccan Chronicle, Rima Kallingal admitted her relationship with Aashiq Abu, but she denied keeping it secret. The newspaper quotes Rima as saying, "Yes we are. And I don't know why there are these rumours now. We have been going out for two years, we have never kept it a secret!"
The couple does not seem to be getting married anytime sooner as they are busy with their respective professions. Rima Kallingal is currently shooting for her upcoming movie Zachariyayude Garbhinikal. Whereas Aashiq Abu is also busy with his upcoming movie Anchu Sundharikal in which Rima is playing one of the five female leads.

Aashiq Abu is basically ad-filmmaker and has done ad films for Joyalukkas group, Mathrubhumi, Panasonic, Lulu Group, Dubai Gold and Jewellery Group and Club 7. He debuted as film director with Mammootty's 2009 movie Daddy Cool, which went to become a big hit of the year.
