Meera
Nandan
started
off
her
career
as
an
actress,
who
has
now
turned
out
to
be
a
playback
singer
too.
She
sang
'Mazhayayi...'
in
the
Mammootty
starred
movie
Silence,
which
has
made
her
more
popular.
The
actress
is
excited
now
as
she
is
playing
the
lead
in
a
yet
to
be
tilted
Telugu
movie.
Directed
by
Viplav,
Meera
essays
the
role
of
a
doctor
in
this
movie.
She
is
thrilled
of
having
an
opportunity
to
portray
such
a
bold
character.
Meera
says,
"When
I
started
shooting
for
the
film,
I
realise
how
intense
my
character
was.
Since
the
entire
film
was
based
on
my
character
and
traces
her
life
from
a
14-year-old
village
girl
to
a
32-year-old
doctor,
I
was
required
to
adjust
my
body
language
accordingly."
Meera
has
almost
completed
90
percent
of
her
shooting.
She
said
that
she
faced
the
toughest
moment
when
the
shooting
was
held
in
a
remote
village.
"The
place
was
so
isolated
with
no
network
connection,
that
all
I
wanted
was
to
complete
the
shoot
and
get
out
of
there.
Since
I
was
playing
the
central
role,
I
was
required
to
be
in
almost
every
scene;
I
was
indeed
very
stressed
out."
Telugu
actor
Jagapathy
Babu
plays
the
male
lead
in
this
movie,
who
plays
the
role
of
her
mentor.
Meera
made
her
debut
as
a
singer
in
the
industry
when
she
was
about
to
fly
to
Hyderabad
for
the
shoot
for
her
Telugu
movie.
But
when
the
director
described
the
song,
she
thought
of
giving
it
a
try
and
flew
to
Chennai
the
very
day
to
record
it.
