Mohanlal Is The Brand Ambassador Of Kochi Half Marathon

Mohanlal is one of the stars in Mollywood, who has been successful in motivating people around him. This might be one of the reasons why he was awarded the Lieutenant Colonel rank. Now, the star has been geared up once again as he is chosen as the brand ambassador Of Kochi Half Marathon.

Apart from Mohanlal, Flying Sikh aka Milkha Singh and PT Usha are also the other brand ambassadors of the event. The inauguration of Cochin International Half Marathon will be held on December 29. It will also witness the participation of India's top runners and 20 foreign athletes.

The online registrations for the Half Marathon will open on November 17 and physical registrations can be done from November 20. The registrations would close on December 22. The Half Marathon has been certified by the Association of International Marathons and Distance Races and is being conducted under the aegis of the Athletic Federation of India. The event will offer a total prize purse of Rs 60 lakh.

The overall male and female winners will take home USD 5,000 each with the runners-up getting USD 3000. Indian athletes will have a separate prize fund with the fastest man and woman winning Rs 2 lakh each and the runner-up taking home Rs 1.5 lakh each.
