Murali Gopy, who lashed out against the censor board for banning his movie Vedivazhipadu, is now a happy person. He is happy because finally he manages to get at least a good remark for his movie.

Wrongly looked upon as a MERE sex comedy (thanks to the Censor Board), VV hides subtle psychological and sociological subtexts beneath its skin. It discusses many things including the Fertility Cult, the Shakti concept, Repression and gender politics. Really proud to have been associated with it.

Happy for Shambhu... Am sure VV will be appreciated for what it really is, when the DVD is out, which is the incumbent habit of all of us, Malayalees. All those who want to break this habit, can go to the theatres..

Vedivazhipadu was finally given A certification by the censor board. The movie had lots of beeps in between and received mixed response. So the tweet by NS Madhavan is indeed a boost for the movie Vedivazhipadu.
