Producers Hesitate To Cast Manju Warrier In Their Movies?

Manju Warrier made a huge comeback into limelight after keeping away from the industry for 14 long years. She faced the camera then with the legendary star Amitabh Bachchan and later with Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, which indeed rose the popularity of the actress. The actress was even reported to have committed many movies. But, now reports claim that producers hesitate to cast Manju in their movies.

It has been reported that Manju has suddenly increased her ransom to Rs 50 lakh, which has put the producers in trouble. Popular young heroes in the industry are being paid around only 25-40 lakhs in their movies, when Manju has suddely increased her ransom. Earlier producers thought that they will get back the amount once the movie bags the satellite rights. But, the Televison channels are not interested to pay a huge sum of money to the producers just for the sake of Manju's presence in the movie. This has landed the producers to avoid Manju from their movies, says reports.

According to sources, news also claim that Manju had become the centre of attraction after becoming the brand ambassador of a popular jewellery. Ever since then, media was behind the actress, reporting every bit of her. This indeed made a huge market for the actress in the industry too.

News came out claiming that she had been signed for a Ranjith movie by Aashirwad Cinemas, to act along with Mohanlal and Prithviraj. The producer said that she had been signed for a sum of nearly one crore rupees for the same. Later, reports also claimed that she had been signed for 3 more movies - two moies by Rosshan Andrrews and one by another director.
