Rimi Tomy's Mother To Anchor A Reality Show!

Popular playback singer and anchor Rimi Tomy's mother Rani is all set to follow the footsteps of her daughter very soon. She has been reportedly selected as an anchor to host a new reality show that is in the making on Surya TV.

According to sources, it will be a music reality show titled Old Is Gold. The channel had already announced the show and it basically targets the participants who are above age of 50, and who has passion for singing.

The channel conducted a search hunt for the new anchor for the show and according to sources, Rani gave a very convincing performance as an anchor, which impressed the jury. Sources claim that she might host the show.

It is to be noted that Rimi, who rose to fame as a singer with her debut song 'Chingamasam..' from the movie Meesha Madhavan, has turned to a popular anchor now, hosting musical talk shows as well as celebrity chat shows. She has also been the anchor of Verutheyalla Bhaarya Season 2, replacing Swetha Menon, when the latter had left the show for her delivery.

So, it will be quite easy for the mother to make her debut venture a huge success by taking tips from her daughter, who has already proved herself as an entertaining anchor!
