that
Shalu
Menon
was
to
marry
Biju
Radhakrishnan,
the
kingpin.
Shalu
was
arrested
last
Friday
and
was
taken
to
Thiruvananthapuram
cantonment
station,
where
she
was
'welcomed'
by
a
gang
of
media
people
and
common
mass.
She
was
taken
into
police
custody
then.
She
accepted
to
the
Special
Investigation
Team
probing
the
solar
case
that
she
was
involved
with
Biju
Radhakrishnan
and
had
taken
money
from
him.
Shalu
Menon
helped
Biju
in
hiding
the
money.
She
gave
it
to
her
family
members
and
also
her
friends.
She
led
a
lavish
life
par
beyond
her
reach.
She
also
accepted
the
fact
that
she
was
to
get
married
to
Biju.
Earlier
to
this
case,
it
was
revealed
that
Biju
had
murdered
his
wife
and
was
living
with
Saritha.
They
were
not
married.
Shalu
had
four
foreign
cars
and
a
big
bungalow
in
her
name,
which
were
all
made
through
the
scam
only.
