Shobana out from Geetanjali?

Geetanjali movie created a hype in the industry from the moment it was announced. It was told that the characters Dr Sunny (played by Mohanlal) and Ganga (played by Shobana) from the movie Manichitrathazhu will be seen again in this flick too. But the latest news says that Shobana will not be seen in Geetanjali.

Shobana's name is not seen in the cast, may be this is because she is appearing in a cameo role. The director of the film, Priyadarshan, has not responded to this statement yet. Whatsoever, Dr Sunny is sure to be in the film.

The movie revolves around two lovers, which is played by new faces. Some suspected incidents happen in their relationship in the midst, and thus paves way for the entry of Dr Sunny.

Shobana is now seen as a performing artist. She is so fond of dancing that she stopped doing films and had concentrated her entire time on dance. She has her own school of dancing. Her dance based on 'Krishna' has won many appreciation inside and outside India.

Geethanjali will have a huge cast including Mohanlal, Innocent, Ganesh, Madhu, Siddique, etc. Music is composed by Vidyasagar. Shooting of the movie is expected to kick start on September 5. Thiru is rolling the camera for the movie.
