Suresh Gopi Turns Crorepathy!

Suresh Gopi, who was anchoring Ningalkkum Aakam Kodeeshwaran, has now quit the show and is back to films. But seems like the actor is still having the hangover of his show. He is coming back with the movie Salaam Kashmir along with Jayaram. According to reports, Suresh Gopi will be paid one crore for this film.

Suresh Gopi will be the fifth actor in the industry who will be paid one crore. Mammootty, Mohanlal, Dileep and Prithviraj are the other actors who have been paid a crore earlier. Mohanlal is paid Rs 1.50 crores and is the highest paid actor in the industry.

Mammootty ranks second with Rs 1.30 crores and Dileep is third with Rs 1.15 crores. Prithviraj was the last to get one crore in the industry. Suresh Gopi is the new member added to the list of crorepathis in Mollywood.

Salaam Kashmir is directed by Joshiy. The movie is more likely to be a family drama and has heavy duty actions and humour in an equal reel space. A major portion of the film has been shot in the picturesque locales of Kashmir, which is one of the favourite locations of the director Joshiy. All the critical incidents in the film is likely to happen in Kashmir only.

Other cast of the film includes Mia, Lalu Alex, Ponnamma Babu, Vijayaraghavan and others. Mia plays Jayaram's wife in the film. Lalu Alex is also seen in a pivotal role. The film is produced by Maha Subair under the banner of Varnachithra Release.
