Actors Speak For Jishnu Raghavan!
Reacting to the rumours regarding Jishnu Raghavan's illness, many actors have posted in Facebook assuring that Jishnu is fine and healthy. It was rumoured that Jishnu was terminally ill and a photo indicating the same, was going viral in Whatsapp and Facebook.
Later, Jishnu posted in Facebook clarifying that he is in good health and has completely recovered from the illness. Supporting him, actor-brothers Indrajith and Prithviraj, who are close friends of Jishnu, posted in their respective Facebook pages that the rumour is false the photograph was apparently taken after his first surgery, earlier this year.
Actor Hemanth Menon even posted the screen shots of his chat with Jishnu on his Facebook page. This has indeed rubbished the rumours about the same. Quoting Prithviraj, “And to the person who had the bright idea of taking such a picture on his/her phone and circulating it and fuelling rumours that even amounted to Jishnu no longer being with us...SHAME ON YOU...WHERE IS YOUR SELF RESPECT???”
We cannot blame Prithviraj for having reacted sharply to a fake news regarding his close friend. Such an act is really disgraceful and unworthy. And more repulsive is the fact that the picture was used and circulated for anti-tobacco campaign. In real life Jishnu is a teetotaler, says his friend, actor Rajith Menon.
It is confirmed that the photo in reference was clicked by a hospital staff; as no one else had access to ICU. We hope serious legal actions will be taken on this regard.
