says
that
the
wedding
will
be
happening
in
a
typical
Chettiyar
style.
She
also
added
that
she
will
be
wearing
the
traditional
Kancheevaram
saree
for
the
wedding.
Amala
Paul
will
tie
the
knot
with
Tamil
director
AL
Vijay
on
June
12.
The
sangeet
and
the
engagement
ceremony
will
happen
on
June
7,
in
Kochi.
Amala
says
that
she
will
wearing
a
dress
designed
by
Anita
Dongre
for
the
sangeet
ceremony.
She
says,
"The
marriage
is
a
typical
Chettiar
ceremony
and
I
am
wearing
jewels
from
Amraapali,
while
the
rest
are
from
Joy
Alukkas."
Adding
on,
Amala
said
that
the
marriage
will
be
happening
in
a
traditional
Chettiyar
style.
It
is
to
be
noted
that
Amala
Paul
belongs
to
a
Kerala
Christian
family
and
her
fiancee
Vijay
is
a
Hindu.
For
the
engagement,
Amala
has
decided
to
make
her
Mom's
wish
to
see
her
in
a
white
wedding
gown
come
true
by
wearing
a
gown
designed
by
Delhi-based
designer
Himangi.
Amala,
a
shopaholic
indeed,
has
said
that
she
has
apparently
finished
with
all
her
wedding
shopping
and
is
now
waiting
for
the
D-Day.
"I
had
everything
planned
in
my
head
even
before
the
dates
were
announced," she
says.
Amala
will
be
soon
busy
with
her
wedding
after
she
completes
her
schedule
for
the
filming
Malayalam
movie
Mili.
She
plays
the
title
role
in
the
film.
Nivin
Pauly
plays
the
male
lead.
The
movie

helmed
by
Rajesh
Pillai.
