Asha Sarath Says Adieu To Tele-Seriels!

Asha Sarath, who rose to fame with the Television serial Kumkumappoovu, says that she has lost her hype in the industry after her serial got over. She says that she is not getting any offers and seems that her career in serials is lost. Asha says that she will not do any more serials from now.

Asha Sarath had done a few serials earlier, before getting married. But, she settled as a home maker after her marriage in Dubai and later, she started a dance school there. It was then that she got an offer from the team of Kumkumappoovu, for the role of Professor Jayanthi. She executed the role to the extreme perfection and people loved her for the same.

Asha even got an entry into movies after the comeback. She made her debut with Friday, which went unnoticed. But, her performances in Zachariyayude Garbhinikal and Drishyam rose her popularity in movies too. Transport Commissioner Rishi Raj Singh called her over the phone and congratulated her for the role in Drishyam, where she played an IPS officer.

Asha will be essaying the same role of an IG in the Kannada remake of Drishyam. Tamil actor Prabhu will play her husband in the Kannada version.

Now, will Asha make a comeback into small screen? Let's hope for the best.
