Kerala is heated up in election everywhere and in spite of the scorching heat, the state has given a decent percentage of vote, claim sources. Many stars also have cast their vote this time and many of them made it for the first time.

Actress Kavya Madhavan was the first celebrity to post a picture of her after casting vote. The actress wrote on her official Facebook page: I cast my vote...did you?

Actress Meera Nandan was yet another celeb to cast her vote. She wrote on her official Facebook page: As a responsible citizen, do vote for our country. Please do not vote for criminals and people who don't do anything for you, your locality, for education, for development, for women!

Actress Sanusha was yet another star who cast her first vote. She posted, "Done my first vote...!!!have u all voted...????"

Actress and anchor Ranjini Haridas went with her mother to cast the vote. "My first vote officially done!!!" Posted the actress on her Facebook page.

Actor Dileep too cast his vote along with his mother and brother at Alwaye. Innocent, who is also a candidate for this election, cast his vote at Irinjalakkuda.

Many other stars did cast their vote, thus making people aware of its importance. But, Mammootty could not cast the vote as his name was not in the voters list!
