Nagavally
passes
away
today,
June
9.
He
died
of
cardiac
arrest
at
his
house
in
Ramankari,
Alappuzha.
He
was
59.
The
cremation
ceremony
will
be
held
on
Tuesday.
Murali
Nagavally
is
the
director
of
movies
Alexander
The
Great
and
Wanted.
The
former
film
had
Mohanlal
and
Bala
in
lead
roles
while,
the
latter
had
Prithviraj
in
the
lead.He
has
also
directed
a
Bollywood
flick
titled
Fauj
Mein
Mauj.
Murali
has
worked
as
assistant
director
under
Priyadarshan
as
well
as
Venu
Nagavally.
He
worked
as
the
same
for
movies
like
Kakkakuyil,
Megham,
Kalapani,
Midhunam,
Hey
Auto,
Lal
Salam,
Sarvakalashala
and
many
more.
He
was
the
script
writer
of
the
movie
Alexander
The
Great
and
had
written
the
story
for
the
film
Kakkakuyil.
Murali
had
kept
very
close
friendship
with
Priyadarshan
and
Mohanlal.
He
is
also
a
realtive
to
the
late
director
and
actor
Venu
Nagavally.
He
is
survived
by
two
children
-
Parvathy,
Gopi
Krishnan.
His
wife
Geetha
Murali
died
some
time
before.
